When Rock Ridge discover their new sheriff is a black railroad worker named Bart, the townsfolk are not what you would call welcoming. With only a drunken gun slinger by his side, Bart must convince the hostile townsfolk he is worthy of the job in order to save Rock Ridge from the scheming State Attorney in one of the greatest comedies ever to grace the screen.
