RED VIOLIN
When an exquisite violin comes up for auction, an appraiser must determine if it’s the legendary lost Red Violin. Following its 400-year globe-travelling history, we see how intensely music affects people of all cultures. Is the violin cursed, or does its perfection merely bring out the demons of those who play it?

TREE OF LIFE
Beautifully made by director legend Terrence Malick, and future great performances by star actors such as Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. Set in the 1950`s suburban US, the film follow the lives of a middle class family trough their joys and their sorrows. That however is only on the surface – at heart this is, as the title suggest, a grand epic about life itself.

MILLENNIUM ACTRESS
Directed by the late Satoshi Kon, Millennium Actress follows an aged actress recounting her years searching for a lost love she first meets during the Second World War. Spanning the 1,000-year period of the films in her acting career, Millennium Actress pushes the animation medium to produce a film that could not be faithfully recreated with live action.
