MEMBERSHIP/ PRICES

Year memberships are £15, and single semester memberships are £10 for students. Non-students can buy a full year membership for £30. You can sign up before a screening, or online via our EUSA societies page.

If you don’t have a membership you can still see a film!
£2.50 for a guest ticket or £1 if you come along with someone who has a membership.
For our film quizzes, non-members all pay £1 entry fee.

If you bought a single semester membership in Semester 1 and decide you would like to stick around for our films in Semester 2, you can upgrade your membership card with £5.
What you get for being a member.

With your season membership card, you get…

  • Free entry to any, or all, of over 60 films
  • Our wonderful magazine full of reviews, and a rather fetching poster (Semester 1 only)
  • The right to help choose next term’s programme of films as part of our programming meetings.
  • Entry (for a small fee) to the BFFS viewing sessions.
  • Deals with local organisations including the Cameo. (Semester 1 only)
  • Free entry to our film quizzes.

Membership Card.
Our membership cards are odd but beautifully printed lilac with our logo and you are to bring these with you to every screening! This is your entry ticket! There is a space to write you name and your student number, you must do this or we will nag you! If you are not a student the space with where your matriculation number should be will be stamped with our logo so we know that it’s all good!

If you forget your card.
The first time you forget your card your name will be checked against a list to confirm you are a member and you will be allowed into the screening but you will be given a warning. After that point any time you forget your card you will be charged 50p.

If you lose your card.
Come to a screening and let us know! Again, we will check against our list to verify that you’re a member. If you bought a membership in Semester 1 you would have recieved our A5 programme with your membership card so if you come along to the screening with that it’s extra helpful. A replacement card will cost you £2.
